Automations - Multiple select

Shapes' automations help you notify whoever you would like about whatever you would like with easy-to-use automations. To learn how to set up automations, click here.

You can pick the fields of interest in the 'When' box. If these fields are changed, an automated notification will be sent out.

You have the ability to select multiple fields, which creates an or attribute between them i.e. if one of these fields is selected, a notification will be sent.

With the “Then” box, you can pick which employee will be notified regarding changes made (note that selection is not limited to only one.)

Selection options

  • @employee will notify the employee whose fields/details have been changed or altered

  • @manager will alert the direct manager of the employee whose fields/details have been changed or altered

  • Specific person will alert the specified employee (e.g. the HR manager)
