What is the Knowledge Base?
The Knowledge Base is a dedicated section within your platform where Admins and Super Admins can upload key files and links and organize them into categories — making it easy for all team members to browse, search, and find the information they need in one place.
Upload Files & Add Links:
Admins and Super Admins can upload documents and add helpful links for the team.
Organize with Categories:
Content in the Knowledge Base doesn't have to live in one flat list — files and links can be organized into categories (folders) so teams can structure information logically. You can create a new category on the fly when adding content, or manage existing categories from the Knowledge Base view.Easy Access for Everyone:
All team members can browse the Knowledge Base to access shared resources.Search:
Employees don't have to scroll through everything — they can search the Knowledge Base directly to quickly find the file or link they need.File Preview & Download:
Files open directly in preview mode for quick viewing. You can also download them if needed.Links Open Seamlessly:
Any link added to the Knowledge Base opens in a new browser tab for smooth navigation.
Who can upload vs. who can view?
Upload access depends on role — and for Managers, it also depends on your account settings:
Role | Can upload files & links | Can browse & search |
Super Admin | Yes | Yes |
Admin | Yes | Yes |
Manager | Depends on account settings | Yes |
Employee | No — view only | Yes |
The Knowledge Base powers AI Chat
The Knowledge Base feeds directly into AI Chat. When employees ask questions, the AI pulls its answers from the files and links you've uploaded — so building out the Knowledge Base is also what makes AI Chat useful.
Tip: The more content you add to the Knowledge Base, the smarter your AI Chat becomes — it uses these files to answer employee questions automatically.
How to add content
Go to Knowledge Base in the left menu.
Click + Add → choose File or Link.
Select a category (or create a new one).
Upload your file or paste your URL → Save.
