Default Home Widgets

Learn how Super Admins can set the default Home screen widgets that new and existing employees see.

Written by Efrat Barak Zadok

Please note that this feature is available only for the Super Admin permission level. You can read more about permissions in the Permission Levels article.

To configure default Home widgets, click on the three dots in the top left-hand corner of the screen, select Account Settings, then open the Widgets tab.

Choosing Default Widgets

Pick any combination of the following widgets to appear on the Home screen by default:

  • My Team

  • My Tasks

  • Birthday Celebrations

  • Work Anniversaries

  • Notepad

  • My Direct Reports

  • Who's Away

Drag to reorder the widgets you've selected — the order you set maps directly to their placement on the Home screen.

Locking the Home Layout

Turn off the Allow users to add widgets toggle to lock the Home layout for everyone. When this is off, users can't add or rearrange widgets themselves — this is enforced server-side, for all roles.

Applying Your Changes

When you save, choose who the new defaults apply to:

  • New users only — employees added after this point automatically get your configured defaults.

  • All existing users — apply the new defaults retroactively to everyone already in the account.

Changes roll out immediately. New employees get your configured defaults automatically going forward; existing employees keep their current Home layout unless you choose "apply to all existing users."
