Is your phone locked to a network?
Is your phone locked to a network?

Can your phone only be used with a specific network or any network?

Updated over a week ago

Network 'locked' devices will only work with that specific network ie O2, EE, etc.

If you got your device from a network provider, as a new contract or upgrade, then it's likely it will only work with that provider. So please select 'Yes'.

Devices bought from a manufacturer (like Apple) or other retailer (like Argos) are likely to be unlocked.

You can usually check this on your device (in settings/general/about) it should say something like 'network provider lock' and it will say if there are any restrictions or not.

We do accept all devices whether they can be used by all providers or not so don't worry about that! And if you don't know just choose 'not sure' and we will check it for you.

Why do we ask you this?

Although we do accept all devices whether they can be used by all providers or not, unlocked phones are slightly more valuable as there's a cost to unlock other devices so that they can be used by anyone.
