My device switches on
Great, it's actually pretty easy to find the model type. In most devices, just head to Settings and your model name will be listed in one of the following locations:
Settings > General > About
Settings > About
Settings > Device
My device doesn't switch on (or the screen is badly cracked)
You may be able to find a serial number on the back of the device which you can search for.
