Main Menu

Use the Main Menu to:

• Switch between other projects (Dashboard, Recent projects)

• Create a new project (New project..)

• Collaborate with team (Project Team)

• Set light or dark mode (Light or Dark Theme)

• See project version list (Revisions)

• Convert to other DB/DW type (Convert project to..)

• Set rules for object naming (Naming conventions).

Also, find helpful information such as Plans and Pricing, etc.

Add objects

Click to create a new object:

  • table (or use Insert key)

  • relationship (hold Ctrl for creating identifying one)

  • note (or use Ctrl+insert).

Export

Use for saving schema in PNG or SVG format.

Team collaboration

Enter email and set permission for edit or view-only access (use Allow to Edit checkbox).

Action button

Click Lock & Edit for editing the Team project.

Do not forget to Unlock the project once finished so other participants can make changes.

Explorer

The explorer menu consists of three items:

  • Diagrams tab - Switch to see all diagrams and subject areas.

  • Diagram explorer tab - quickly browse through objects in the diagram.

  • Database Explorer tab - Search or browse through all the database objects in the project.

Table properties

Select a table and expand tabs for editing columns, indexes, constraints, description, color indicator, and related tables. Click on a column name to access Column properties.
