This article explains how users can change their SubBase password from inside their account or reset it from the login screen if they’re locked out or forgot it.

Overview

You can manage your SubBase password in two ways, depending on whether you can log in.

  • Change your password from inside your Contractor account (if you can log in)

  • Reset your password from the login page (if you’re locked out or forgot it)

Both options follow SubBase’s secure password standards.

Before You Start

  • You must have access to the email address associated with your SubBase account

  • Passwords must meet SubBase security requirements

Steps to Change or Reset Your Password

Option 1: Change Your Password (When Logged In)

Use this option only if you can access your SubBase account.

Step 1: Open your profile settings

  • Click your name in the top-right corner to open the User Profile menu.

Step 2: Go to Security settings

  • Select User Settings, then open the Security section.

Step 3: Enter a new password

  • Enter your current password, then create a new password that includes:

    • At least 8 characters

    • One uppercase letter

    • One lowercase letter

    • One number

    • One symbol (for example: * $ % # @)

Step 4: Save your changes

  • Click Save to confirm your update.

  • Your password change takes effect immediately.

Option 2: Reset Your Password (If You’re Locked Out or Forgot It)

Use this option if you can’t log in to your SubBase account.

Step 1: Open the SubBase login page

  • Go to the SubBase login page:

  • On the login screen, select whether you are logging in as a Contractor or a Vendor before continuing.

Step 2: Start the reset process

  • Click Forgot Password below the login fields.

Step 3: Enter your email address

  • Enter the email address registered to your SubBase account.

Step 4: Submit your request

  • Click Submit or Reset Password.

  • SubBase will send a password reset email to that address.

Step 5: Create a new password

  • Open the email and click the reset link.

  • Create a new password that meets SubBase’s requirements and click Save.

  • You’ll be signed in automatically after completing the reset.

Troubleshooting

Didn’t receive the reset email?

  • Check your Spam or Junk folder

  • Make sure you entered your registered company email

  • Click Forgot Password again to resend the email

Reset link expired?

  • Return to the login page and click Forgot Password again

  • Reset links expire after a short period for security reasons

Still can’t log in?

  • If you still can’t access your account after trying these steps, contact SubBase Support.

  • Include your email address and a short description of the issue so the team can verify your account.
