Updated over 3 months ago

What is the CCPA?

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), which went into effect on January 1, 2020, residents of California have the right to make certain requests to businesses regarding their personal information. Consumers can request the personal information a business has collected about them and certain details about how the business uses and discloses this data. This law also includes the right to request deletion of said personal information.
