This guide will help you understand how our credits work, which serve as your currency within Taplio.
💳 Credit System Overview
There are primarily two types of credits: reply credits and AI credits.
Based on your subscription plan, you will receive a varying number of credits each month.
💬 Reply credits
These are consumed when you reply to other people's posts but not when you reply to comments on your own posts.
Starter: 0 credits
Standard: 500 credits per month (renewed upon payment and on the 1st of every month)
Pro: Unlimited credits (fair use)
Note: You can track your reply credits on the Engage page.
⚡ AI-generated Credits
AI credits are consumed when using AI features:
Starter: No access to Expert mode
Standard: 250 Expert mode credits per month
Pro: Unlimited Expert mode credits per month
These credits are used for:
Rewriting a post = 1 credit
Post generator = 1 credit
Hook generator = 1 credit
1 message sent to Chat Assist = 1 credit
Reply generator = 1 credit
Once you exhaust your Expert mode credits, you will automatically switch to unlimited Faster mode credits, allowing continuous use of all AI features.
All credits are renewed on the 1st of every month.
🧠 Smart Reply Credits
These credits are also included in the AI Generated Credits, which you can enable or disable through a toggle in the Settings of the Taplio X extension. One generated AI reply takes up one credit.
