The sky's the limit! Your Ugly Visa is associated with the American multinational payment card services company, Visa®, so you can use it, physically or virtually, wherever it's accepted.

You can also set up automatic and recurring payments, so you never forget to pay for the gym or that streaming service everyone uses at home. Remember... with great power comes great responsibility 😉

Additionally, you can withdraw cash from any Visa® ATM in the city you're in, 24 hours a day. There's nothing as Ugly as running out of cash right when you need it most.

When making purchases or cash withdrawals in your local currency, keep in mind:

No need to worry! We'll debit the equivalent amount from your stablecoin balance for what you spent in local currency. The conversion will be done automatically, and the price will be linked to the exchange rate that Visa uses at the moment of the transaction.

Costs and limits associated with the Ugly Visa

You will be able to make payments with your card quickly and easily, considering the following transaction limits:

Usage of the Ugly Visa:

  • Every 24 hours: $2,000

  • Every 30 days: $10,000

    This limit is cumulative with cash withdrawals.

Cash withdrawals at ATMs:

  • Every 24 hours: $500

  • Every 30 days: $5,000

Furthermore, here are the transaction fees for using La Ugly Visa:

  • El Salvador: 0%

  • Mexico: 0.66%

  • Rest of the world: 1%

How to request my Ugly Visa?

☝️Once you meet the requirements, you can apply for your card! Follow these simple steps:

Request the Virtual card

Requirement: Maintain a USD $5 balance in the UGLYCASH Earn account.

  1. Go to the Card Menu in your UGLYCASH app (easy, it's the section with the Visa card image at the top of the app).

  2. There you will see the requirements to unlock your virtual card. If you meet them, the “Get the virtual Ugly Visa” button will be available.

  3. Click on “Get the virtual Ugly Visa” and then “Details”.

Request the Physical card

Requirement: The delivery cost varies for each country. You can see the cost before requesting the Ugly Visa.

  1. Enter the Card Menu in your UGLYCASH app (yes, the option with the Visa card image).

  2. If you already meet the requirements, the “Order Ugly Visa” button will be ready to be pressed.

  3. Click on “Order Ugly Visa”.

  4. Verify that the address is correct (this is where we will send you the card).

  5. If you need to edit any of the information, you can click on the “pencil” icon.

  6. If the address is correct, click on “Send card 🔥”.

  7. Review and confirm your address and shipping cost by clicking on “Confirm”.

The delivery is either handled by DHL or Local delivery services.

🚚 For DHL deliveries:

The shipment of the card usually takes between 7 and 10 business days. Once requested, and after 2 to 3 business days, you will receive either an email, a WhatsApp message, or an SMS with the data to track it.

🚚 For local deliveries:

The shipment of the card usually takes between 2 and 5 business days. Once requested, we will send you an email to your linked email address with your tracking number.

How to activate my Ugly Visa?

If your Ugly Visa is in your hands, you just need to activate it 🎉.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Card Menu in your UGLYCASH app (easy to find — it's the option with the Visa card icon).

  2. Click the button that says "When it arrives, click here to activate it."

  3. Scan the QR code located on the envelope of the card you just received.

  4. If there's a problem, you can tap "Enter manually" and manually input the code found below the QR code.

  5. Now, create a PIN that you’ll remember, but not something as obvious as 1234.

☝️Important:

  • The PIN cannot be sequential, nor can it be the same number repeated four times.

And that's it! 😎 Your physical card details have now replaced your virtual card details. So, don't forget to update your subscriptions and automatic debits. Welcome to the UGLYCASH experience!

How to Pause/Reactivate Your Ugly Visa

In UGLYCASH, you can pause and reactivate your card in a snap.

Here's how to do it quickly and easily:

  1. Open the UGLYCASH app and go to the Card Menu (the one with the Visa card icon).

  2. Click "Pause". Done! Your card is paused, just like giving your account a little break.

Ready to use your Ugly Visa again? No problem. Just go back to the same menu and click "Activate". Your card will be back in action in seconds.

With these simple steps, you have total control of your Ugly Visa. Whether it's to protect your money or just to take a break, now you know how to pause and reactivate your card in an instant. 🤓
