Limits on UGLYCASH: Everything You Need to Know (Latam)

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Ah, limits. The necessary lines we draw to keep things balanced, safe, and in check—even in the wild, passionate world of Ugly Cash.

But don’t fret; we’ve set these boundaries not to stifle your financial romance but to ensure it thrives. So, let’s talk about those oh-so-important limits that every Ugly Cash member should be aware of. 😉

Withdrawal Limits

Withdrawals via ACH Transfers with Your U.S. Bank Account

You can make a maximum of 3 transactions per day.

There is no maximum amount per withdrawal of this type.

  • Withdrawal limit per Transaction: USD $2,000 total.

(Unverified withdrawal limit — if you exceed USD $2,000 per transaction, we will call you to verify your identity.)

  • Minimum of USD $10 per transfer.

  • Transfer fee: USD $1.

So, dear Ugly member, while limits may seem like barriers, think of them as gentle protections that keep your financial relationship safe. Because in love and money, a little moderation can make the heart grow stronger.

Deposit Limits

Deposits via ACH Transfers from U.S. Bank Accounts

Deposit limits (how much can be transferred to your U.S. Bank Account) apply only to transfers from third-party individuals.

If the account transferring funds shares the same last name (belongs to a family member) or is a Business Account (e.g., the company you work for):

  • There are no deposit/receipt limits.

If the sender is a Third-Party Individual (e.g., a friend, acquaintance, or client), then keep the following limit in mind:

  • Per transaction: USD $3,999.

Cash Deposits via PuntoXpress (El Salvador)

  • Every 24 hours: $500.

  • Every 30 days: $2,000.

Okay, But How Do the Limits Work?

Imagine that on April 1st, you withdraw USD $200 using your Ugly Visa card.

That same day, you make another withdrawal of USD $300, reaching the daily limit of USD $500.

You won't be able to make more withdrawals until 24 hours have passed since the first withdrawal, that is, until April 2nd at the same time.

If in the following days you continue withdrawing money, those amounts will accumulate and deduct from the monthly limit of USD $5,000.

For example, if in the first 10 days of the month you withdraw a total of USD $4,000, you will only have USD $1,000 available until the limit for the first withdrawal is renewed on May 1st.
