With Uglycash you can deposit funds directly from any local bank in El Salvador. To make sure your deposit is processed smoothly, follow these steps:
Steps to Add Funds
1. Start the deposit in the app
Open the Uglycash app.
Go to the “Deposit” section.
Select the option “Bank Transfer 🇸🇻”.
2. Enter the amount
Type the amount in dollars you want to deposit.
Keep in mind the fixed fee of $2 per deposit.
Example: if you want $100 to arrive in your Uglycash account, you must transfer $102 from your bank.
3. Get the account details for the transfer
Choose the bank you will use to make the transfer.
The app will show you the account details of our provider Payvalida, where you need to send the money.
Write down or copy the information carefully, since you’ll need it in your bank’s app or website.
4. Make the transfer from your bank
When you log in to your bank’s app or website:
Enter the payment reference provided by the app (an 8-digit number).
Send the total amount including the fee.
Once you complete the transfer:
Save the receipt or take a screenshot.
⚠️ This step is key: without that screenshot of the receipt, your deposit cannot be processed.
Return to UGLYCASH and tap “I’ve made the transfer”.
5. Register your deposit in the form
The Payvalida page will open to register your transaction:
You’ll see your transaction details: reference, amount, and email.
Select the bank you used for the transfer:
If you sent it from Cuscatlán, choose Cuscatlán.
If you sent it from Agrícola or another bank, choose Agrícola.
In the field “Ticket Number”, enter the operation number provided by your bank.
Upload the screenshot of your transfer receipt.
Double-check that all information is correct, and click “Submit Deposit”.
6. Done! Your funds will be credited soon to your balance.

You can deposit from any bank in El Salvador.
Always make sure to send the exact amount shown in the instructions (including the fee).
Always save your receipt: screenshot or slip.
In the Payvalida form, under “Ticket Number”, enter the operation number provided by your bank.

When will my deposit be credited? ⏱️
The timing depends on when you register the Payvalida form:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to before 6:00 pm: 15 minutes to 3 hours.
Monday to Friday after 6:00 pm: next business day starting at 8:00 am.
Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm: 15 minutes to 3 hours.
Sundays or outside business hours: next business day starting at 8:00 am.
