Data request policy
Updated over a year ago

From time to time, BFF United, LLC (“BFF United” or “Company”) may receive information requests about its users from law enforcement agencies. This Law Enforcement Request Policy (“Policy”) is here to provide you with information about how the Company processes these requests. If we are to be contacted by law enforcement, we suspect that law enforcement will be interested in two types of data: information about customers’ identities and information about their activities using the Ugly Cash mobile application.

When information requests are received, the Company requires that it be accompanied by appropriate legal process. This can vary from place to place. For example, production orders, search warrants, and subpoenas, but also requests for voluntary disclosure of data may all amount to legal process. The company will review each order and request for voluntary disclosure to determine that it has a valid legal basis and that any response is narrowly tailored to ensure that only the data to which law enforcement is entitled is provided.

The company also reserves the right to make disclosures to authorities in order to protect itself or any of its customers, at the Company’s sole discretion.

The company welcomes inquiries from law enforcement agencies about its policies and procedures. Please contact the Company at support@ugly.cash, in order to be able to process any type of request in this regard.
