Communicating with Your Expert on the Platform
Being able to communicate securely with an expert assigned to your order is one of the key features of our platform. Here’s how it works.
In selection (when no writer has been hired yet): ⬇️
When you have yet to hire a writer, chatting with potential writers can be the most effective way to make a final choice. You can ask any questions directly to the expert, e.g., "What would be your first steps?", "Where will you look for this information?" "Are the provided instructions clear enough?" "Do you have access to the needed tools and sources?" etc. This will help you decide which writers to hire.
To get in touch with your expert while the order is In selection stage, please follow the instructions below:
Go to My orders -> In selection;
Find the order and click on it;
Scroll to the bottom to find the experts' proposals;
Find the chat next to the expert's name.
In progress (when the writer has already been hired): ⬇️
If you have an order in progress, you can ask your writer any questions regarding the task, agree on the next chatting time convenient for both of you, ask for early drafts, request edits, and discuss milestones with your expert directly through the order chat.
To get in touch with a specialist you've already hired, please:
Go to the My Orders menu;
Check through your order list and find the title of the order you need;
The chat section will be under View Details.
Alternatively, you can click the Chats button in the menu on the left.
For security reasons, the chat is the only way to communicate with the expert. Please do not share personal details such as logins unless it is essential to complete the assignment. If you receive any messages from the experts outside of the platform, please report it to us.
