How can I cancel my AAPC membership, subscription, or auto-renewal?

Written by Andrew McLaughlin

General Membership Cancellation

AAPC memberships are annual memberships and generally remain active through the end of the current membership term.

If you do not wish to continue your membership, you may elect not to renew when the membership term expires.

AAPC memberships are not automatically renewed by default. However, if your membership is associated with an active payment plan, renewal behavior may follow the terms of that payment plan.

You may also request that your account be marked as Will Not Renew if you would prefer not to receive future renewal reminders.

Membership Refunds

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the membership has been purchased or renewed.

If you have questions regarding a recent purchase or believe a payment was processed incorrectly, contact AAPC Customer Support for assistance.

Subscription Auto-Renewals

Certain subscription-based products may use auto-renewal settings.

Examples may include:

  • Codify subscriptions

  • Webinar subscriptions

  • Other recurring subscription services

If a product includes auto-renewal, you may disable the setting before the next renewal date to avoid future charges.

If you need assistance locating or updating your subscription settings, contact AAPC Customer Support.

Trial Subscriptions

If you are using a trial subscription, review the terms associated with the trial to determine whether it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period.

If auto-renewal is enabled for a trial product, it should be disabled before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue service.
