Overview
AAPC certification exams are scheduled through Meazure Learning after an eligible exam voucher has been redeemed.
This article explains how to redeem an exam voucher, schedule an exam appointment, schedule a retake, and troubleshoot common exam scheduling issues. The article does not cover Unlimited Exam Attempts programs, voucher extensions, or course-specific training requirements, which are covered separately.
Redeem Your Exam Voucher
Before scheduling an exam appointment, you must redeem your exam voucher.
Sign in to your AAPC account.
Open your account purchases.
Locate the exam voucher associated with your certification exam.
Select Redeem.
Follow the prompts provided to continue to Meazure Learning.
Redeeming a voucher does not automatically schedule an exam appointment. Scheduling must be completed separately through Meazure Learning.

Schedule a Retake
If your exam purchase includes an additional attempt, a retake may become available after your first exam attempt has been processed.
You may be able to schedule your retake through:
Your available exam voucher
Your exam results page
The Schedule Retake option, when available
If your retake is not immediately visible, allow time for processing before contacting support.

If the Redeem button is unavailable:
Refresh the page.
Verify the voucher has not already been redeemed.
Confirm the voucher has not expired.

If your second attempt is not visible:
Confirm your first exam attempt has been processed.
Verify your package includes an additional attempt.
Review your purchases and exam results.
Allow processing time before escalating the issue.

Voucher redemption is incomplete.
Account information has not synchronized.
Processing has not completed.
These situations may require review by AAPC and Meazure Learning.
