How to Access, View, or Download Your AAPC Certificates or Credentials

AAPC provides several ways to access and verify your certifications and course completion certificates. While certification certificates are issued as physical documents and are not available for download, there are alternative methods available to verify your credentials and access course completion records.

Overview of Certificate Access

AAPC certification certificates are issued in physical form and mailed to the address on file. Digital copies are not provided. If you need proof of certification, you can use your AAPC member ID card or the Credential Verification Tool.

Certification Certificates

Physical Certificates

Certification certificates are mailed after certification processing is completed. If you have not received your certificate, confirm that your mailing address is correct and contact AAPC for assistance.

Digital Certificates

Digital or downloadable versions of certification certificates are not available.

To verify your certification status, use:

  • Your AAPC member ID card

  • The Credential Verification Tool

Credential Reinstatement and Missing Credentials

Missing credentials in your AAPC account can occur for several reasons, including:

  • Membership lapse

  • Removal from a corporate membership

  • Credential revocation

  • Other account-related issues

The steps below can help identify and resolve the issue.

Step 1: Verify Your Membership Status

  1. Log in to your AAPC account.

  2. Confirm whether your membership is active.

If your membership has expired, renewing your membership may restore access to your credential information.

Step 2: Check Corporate Membership Status

If you previously received membership through an employer-sponsored corporate membership:

  1. Contact your employer or corporate administrator.

  2. Confirm whether you are still included in the membership plan.

If you are no longer covered, you may need to establish an individual membership.

Step 3: Review Certification Status

If your credential has been revoked or is no longer active, contact AAPC Support to determine your available options and next steps.

Requirements vary based on account history and certification status.

Step 4: Contact AAPC Support

If you are unsure why your credential is missing, AAPC Support can review your account and provide specific guidance.

By identifying the cause of the issue, you can take the appropriate steps to restore access to your credential information.
