AAPC eBooks are accessed through VitalSource Bookshelf.
When you purchase an eBook, you'll receive a redemption code that allows you to add the eBook to your VitalSource Bookshelf library. The redemption code is typically sent by AAPC's eBook team. Once redeemed, your eBook can be accessed through VitalSource across supported devices.
Step 1: Go to VitalSource
Visit the VitalSource website and sign in to your account.
If you do not already have a VitalSource account, create one using the email address you'd like associated with your eBook library.
Step 2: Redeem Your eBook Code
After signing in:
Locate the Redeem Code option.
Enter the eBook redemption code you received from AAPC.
Submit the code.
Once successfully redeemed, the eBook will be added to your Bookshelf library.
Step 3: Access Your eBook
After redemption:
Open your Bookshelf library.
Select the eBook you would like to read.
Begin reading online.
Optional: Download the Bookshelf App
If you plan to access your eBook on multiple devices, you may wish to install the VitalSource Bookshelf application.
The Bookshelf application allows you to access your eBooks across supported devices, making it easier to switch between your computer, tablet, or mobile device.
I Lost My eBook Redemption Code
If you no longer have your eBook redemption code, contact AAPC for assistance. A replacement code request may be required before the eBook can be redeemed.
Common Issues
I redeemed my code but don't see my eBook.
Verify you are signed into the correct VitalSource account.
Refresh your Bookshelf library.
Allow a few moments for the eBook to appear after redemption.
I never received my redemption code.
If your redemption code was not received, contact AAPC Support so the eBook team can review your order and assist you.
I have multiple devices.
Downloading the VitalSource Bookshelf application may provide a better reading experience across multiple devices.
