If you hold a credential with an Apprentice designation (for example, CPC-A), you may qualify to have the Apprentice designation removed by submitting qualifying documentation.
Accepted Documentation
You may qualify through one or more of the following:
Professional Coding Experience
Submit:
Employer letter describing coding experience
Company letterhead
Direct supervisor signature
No digital signatures
Education
Submit:
Official Transcripts: Must specify total coding education hours completed
Completion certificate
Official Letters: Must detail completed hours from the institution
Education documentation must meet current contact-hour requirements.
Practicode
Completion of the required Practicode experience pathway may satisfy Apprentice removal requirements, when applicable.
