How to Reinstate Your AAPC Credential

Written by Andrew McLaughlin

The reinstatement process generally follows these steps:

  1. Submit a reinstatement request.

  2. AAPC reviews your eligibility.

  3. AAPC sends a requirements email explaining what is needed.

  4. Complete all listed requirements.

  5. Submit any requested CEUs or documentation.

  6. Pay any required fees listed in your reinstatement instructions.

  7. AAPC reviews the completed requirements.

  8. Your credential is reinstated once all requirements are satisfied.

Requirements vary by account. Always follow the instructions provided in your reinstatement email.

Important

Membership renewal alone does not automatically reinstate a credential. CEU submission alone may also not complete reinstatement. Your reinstatement email will explain what is required for your account.

How do I know when reinstatement is complete?

Your credential is reinstated once AAPC has reviewed and confirmed that all reinstatement requirements have been satisfied.
