Leaving a Corporate Membership Program
If your employer manages your AAPC membership through a corporate membership program and you are no longer employed by that organization, your membership may need to be transitioned from the corporate account to an individual membership.
What Happens to My Certification?
Your certifications and previously earned CEUs remain associated with your AAPC account.
Maintaining an active membership and completing any required CEUs remains your responsibility after leaving a corporate membership program.
What Should I Do If I Leave My Employer?
If you are leaving an organization that manages your membership through a corporate account:
Contact the administrator who manages your organization's corporate membership program.
Confirm whether your membership has been removed from the corporate account.
Review your membership status after the transition is complete.
Who Can Remove Me From a Corporate Membership?
Corporate memberships are managed by the organization that owns the account.
If you need to be removed from a corporate membership program, contact your organization's corporate membership administrator.
I Am No Longer Employed but Still See a Corporate Membership
If your account still appears connected to a corporate membership after your employment ends, contact the organization managing the corporate account for assistance.
