DRG Code Lookup

DRG Codes are a standardized classification system used in healthcare for the purpose of grouping patients with similar medical and treatment options. This system was developed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and is used by hospitals to determine reimbursement for inpatient services.

1. Users that have a Complete Coder license can find DRG Codes under the Code Sets Tab. This tab can be accessed by logging into your Codify account and clicking on the "Code Sets" tab at the top of the page.

2. Here you will see the ranges and sections of DRG Codes. You can browse through the codes or use the search bar to find a specific code.

3. To search for a specific DRG code, simply type the code into the search bar and click "Search." For example, if you are looking for the code for "OTHER O.R. PROCEDURES FOR INJURIES WITH CC," you can type in "OTHER O.R. PROCEDURES FOR INJURIES WITH CC" and the corresponding DRG code will appear.

4. The DRG ↔ ICD-10-CM crosswalk can be located on the Codify homepage. This crosswalk allows you to easily convert DRG codes to ICD-10-CM codes and vice versa. To access this crosswalk, simply log into your Codify account and click on the "Crosswalk" tab at the top of the page.

5. If you do not see this widget on your homepage, click on the 'Customize' button and select this crosswalk. This will add the crosswalk widget to your homepage for easy access.

6. You can also find this crosswalk on the code details page under the crosswalk section. To access this, simply click on a specific DRG code and scroll down to the "Crosswalk" section.

The DRG code set comes with a Complete Coder license to Codify. This means that with your license, you have access to all DRG codes and their corresponding information.
