How to Reinstate Your Credential

If you have lost your credential, don't worry! If your certification was revoked within the past three years, you may be eligible for our reinstatement process. This process typically involves paying any missed membership fees, a $200 reinstatement fee, and submitting any missed CEUs.

Reinstatement within 1 Year

If it has been less than a year since your certification was revoked, you can easily request a reinstatement on our website. Just follow these simple steps:

Click on your name in the top right-hand corner of the page

Click on Overview

The "Credential Reinstatement Request" Link will appear on the left-hand side of the page under the menu bar. If you do not see this link please reach out to our Customer Service team.

Otherwise, click on this link. Read through the instructions and submit your reinstatement request.

Once you have completed these steps, our team will review your request and guide you through the rest of the process.

Reinstatement after 1 Year

If it has been over a year since your certification was revoked, or if you do not see the "Credential Reinstatement Request" option on our website, you will need to connect with a representative. Our team is here to help you through this process and answer any questions you may have.

We understand that losing your credential can be stressful, but we are here to support you and help you get back on track. Thank you for choosing AAPC for your certification needs.
