Please note: You will receive an email invitation to initiate your background check from our third-party vendor, Checkr, only after you have successfully completed your first job. If you have not yet received this email, please ensure that you have completed your first assignment. Also, be sure to check your spam or junk folder. Additionally, after signing up, your account undergoes a compliance review phase, which can take up to 3 business days. Once this review is complete, you’ll receive a welcome email and can begin claiming jobs.
Steps to Trigger the Background Check Email
Complete Training and Compliance Review: After signing up, your account undergoes a compliance review, which can take up to 3 business days. Once this review is complete, you’ll receive a welcome email and can begin claiming jobs.
Start Claiming and Attempting Jobs: To trigger the background check process, you need to start engaging with work by claiming and attempting jobs. The background check email will be sent after you complete your first job or serve.
Wait for the Background Check Email: Once you’ve completed your first serve, the background check process starts automatically. You don’t need to take any additional action to receive the email.
We ask that you complete this background check as soon as possible once received. Failing to complete a background check can lead to profile inactivation. Failing to complete the background check may also prevent you from claiming jobs or being assigned an area. The background check process is automated and does not require any manual action from you once you’ve completed your first serve. If you believe there’s an issue with your account or the process, contact ABC Legal support for assistance.
