Tennessee - Stamp Program

Explains ABC Legal's Stamp Program for Tennessee process servers, including how the Authorization Letter lets ABC Legal sign and file summonses on their behalf.

What the Stamp Program is

If you're a process server contracted by ABC Legal who serves in Tennessee, the Stamp Program is a faster way for you to get your proofs returned to the court, so deadlines are met. ABC Legal sends you an Authorization Letter that gives ABC Legal permission to sign the summons on your behalf, just sign and return!

Once you e-sign your proof, ABC Legal will sign the summons for you and file it directly with the court. This takes away the inconvenience of filing your proofs yourself, with no change to your pay rate.

How to Join

  • Reach out to Support: Reach out via the "Chat with us" option and request to join the stamp program.

  • Sign the form: Legibly sign the Authorization Letter and return a copy to ABC Legal, either digitally or by mail. If you need to mail it, let ABC Legal know and they'll send you a UPS label for overnight delivery.

  • Wait for confirmation: Once ABC Legal receives your signed form, allow 2-3 weeks before the program starts. You'll be notified individually when you're ready to begin.

Revoking later: Your authorization stays valid until you revoke it in writing to ABC Legal.

What Doesn't Qualify for the Stamp Program?

  • Any proof that requires a notary

  • All proofs in Putnam and Maury counties
