Abillio offers company-as-a-service (virtual company), invoicing service, and VAT ID, allowing you to legally issue VAT-compatible invoices and receive payments for your services from cross-border customers as if you were running your own company.
β
That depends on your tax residency. Abillio will not withhold any taxes on the payouts and you will be responsible for declaring the income and paying personal taxes in your country of tax residence.
Abillio currently provides full tax compliance and pays income tax on your behalf only in Latvia, more countries to follow.
β
You do not have to pay taxes if your annual income from freelance work falls within your personal allowance (depending on your tax residency, other sources of income, etc.). If it exceeds your personal allowance, you must register as a sole trader or sole proprietor in your tax jurisdiction.
Please see our Resources (https://abill.io/en/blog/) section for more information on your specific case.
