This article will guide you to create the smallest data object in Aboard: a Card

To get started with creating a Card, open your browser and go to your favorite news website or browse those shoes that you have been eyeing.

You can create Cards in multiple ways:

1. Typing custom text

2. Pasting a URL

3. Dragging in images or files

4. Using the extension

5. Using AI to suggest Cards

We will elaborate on each of these methods below:

1. Typing Custom Text:

To start off, click on the “New Card" present at the top right corner of the screen or simply press “a”.

Then type in your text (and you can optionally fill in the details present below), once you’re done press “Save” and it will automatically save to your Board.

2. Pasting a URL:

To start off, click on the “New Card" present at the top right corner of the screen or simply press “a”.

Paste the link that you want in the Card as presented below

After which the Card will automatically fill in the information parsed from the link, all you have to do is press “Save”.

3. Dragging in images or files:

To do this simply Drag the file or image that you want to Upload and drop it in your Board.

After that just name your Card and press “Save”

4. Using the extension:

You can also easily and seamlessly add Cards into Aboard by simply adding them directly from the Aboard Plug in while surfing the web!

5. Using AI to suggest Cards:

To do this simply click on the “Suggest” button that is present next to the “New card”. AI would then suggest Cards that seem relevant to your Board content.

Aboard focuses on creating a more intuitive and aesthetic feel to data and it all starts with a Card!
