In the mission of reclaiming the web, and organizing your data, Aboard enables you to add custom fields to Cards. Custom fields provide a method to add relevant data to Cards and customize data from the web.

You can add these custom data fields either through the Board Settings or directly through the Card. The data fields will display across all Cards in a Stack.

An easy way to add a custom field is to enlarge a Card and then press on "Edit Card" and then click on the “Add new field" as shown below

Next you will be presented with the different options of the new field types that you can add as shown below. In our case we will choose the rating option and then opt for the "Stars". After you choose and name your field click on "Create custom field"

The custom field you choose for one Card, shows up as an option for all Cards in that one Stack. However, it is still unique for each Card (as you see the input information for the custom field remains empty until you customize it for that specific Card).

Additionally if you ever want to edit the name or delete a custom field just head to “Settings” and then click on “Card Fields”, where you will be able to retype or delete the field by clicking on the red trash icon that appears when you hover over the field as shown below.
