What defines a student as either being full-time or part-time is determined by your study load per semester.

For VET students:

  • The minimum full-time study load is 5 subjects per semester.

  • The maximum number of subjects you can enrol in is 6 per semester.

For HE students:

  • The minimum full-time study load is 30 Credit Points (usually 3 subjects) per semester.

  • The maximum credit points you can enrol in a semester is 50 Credit Points.

For Diploma of Music Industry, the study periods are by terms.
There are 4 terms in a year and a full-time study load per term is 3 subjects.

You can change your study load from part-time to full-time or vice versa at the start of any semester throughout the course of your study.
