Make changes to the business sheet

Customize business sheet layout and formatting

⚠️ Important: When making changes to your business sheet, we strongly recommend making a copy of the existing business sheet layout. If invalid changes are made to the current business sheet and it returns errors when viewing the layout, we are unable to rectify this.


Copy the current business sheet

To copy your existing business sheet layout, please log onto StockLink and follow the steps below:

  1. Click Designers and select Business Sheet Designer.

  2. Click New.

  3. Tick Copy existing layout and then click the ... symbol.

  4. Select the layout you want to copy and click Save.

  5. Next to the layout number, type in a description.

  6. Click Save.


Make changes to the business sheet

You have now made a copy of your existing layout, which means you can now make changes to this layout without affecting your current live business sheet.

Insert a row

Right click above the cell, select Edit and then Insert Row.

Insert a column

Right click on a column, select Edit and then Insert Column.

Change the decimal place

Next to the number 8, you have two tick boxes. In the box directly to the left, enter your decimal place.

Change the color of the cell

Select the cell you want to change the colour on and click the bucket.

Assign business sheet

Now that you have made your changes to your copied business sheet layout, you can add this business sheet to your locations for them to use. To do this, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click System Maintenance.

  2. Click Location

  3. Click ... symbol and select the location.

  4. Change the Business Sheet layout to the new layout you have created using the drop-down.

  5. Click Save
