Why it is important to nominate Student Ambassadors

Nominating your students to become an Acces GCSEPod Student Ambassador gives them the opportunity to manage a project and develop leadership skills.

A great addition to their CV, Ambassadors work together with the Access GCSEPod Lead to motivate students and increase usage through peer-to-peer promotion.

As a Student Ambassador, they also obtain free access to Access Careers Guru, an interactive careers guidance platform that allows students to explore the professional world at their own pace.

What you can do to nominate Student Ambassadors

  • Introduce students to the Student Ambassador Programme and ask for volunteers, e.g. one student from each form group. The maximum number of ambassadors is 10.

  • Alternatively, nominate students who have previously shown an interest in leading a project or who you feel would benefit from the challenge of working with other students on a whole school project.

  • Appoint Student Ambassadors in Monitor and Manage

  • Contact your Customer Success Manager to confirm the allocation and obtain access to Access Careers Guru.
