In HandiTax you can create an expression for BAS Type which will filter and tag all clients with the selected BAS type using the Tag/Untag function. The BAS type can be set in the Client Details window.
To create the filter, follow the steps below:
Log in to HandiTax.
Go to Reports and select Client Expressions.
Click New.
Give it a name e.g. BAS Type Qtr.
In the Expression box type in BasType@Clients = "5" and click Save.
Each BAS type has a different number. Change the number in the expression box accordingly.
0 = No BAS\IAS type selected
1 = IAS Monthly
2 = IAS Quarterly
3 = IAS Annually
4 = BAS Monthly
5 = BAS Quarterly
6 = BAS Annually
7 = BAS QTR IAS MTH
To tag these clients go to the Client menu, Tag\Untag batches of clients.
Click Conditions.
Highlight the filter you've just created and click Select.
All clients with the specified BAS type should now be tagged.
