View and manage time and work done

Work done

To view the work done, follow the steps below:

  1. From the side bar, or the desktop widget, click Work Done.

  2. If required, filter the results using the following options:

    • Time period

    • Search

    • View by person or date.

  3. On the required record, click the down arrow to open further actions, such as:

    • Open case

    • Time recording

    • New mail

    • Ledger card

    • View document.

Time recording

Against the production of documents and emails

To time record against the production of documents or emails, follow the steps below:

  1. As you would normally, produce the document or email.

  2. For documents click the Time and Cost tab on the new entry pop-up,

  3. Amend the time entry details as required and then click Submit.

Within the matter

To add generic time, as opposed to being linked to the production of a document or email, please follow the steps below:

  1. At the top of the screen, click Record Time.

  2. Select the Timesheet, date and Details.

  3. Manually adjust the units and add a Note.
    ​Tip: If you'd like more formatting options, click Attendance note.

  4. Click Submit.

On the Time Recording screen

To record time on the time recording screen, follow the steps below:

  1. From the sidebar, click Time Recording.

  2. On the bar at the top, set your filtering preferences.

  3. To add time, select an existing row of data and then click Add Time.
    Alternatively, click Add Time at the top of the screen and then Select Matter.

  4. Enter the time recording details.
    ​Tip: If you'd like more formatting options, click Attendance note.

  5. Click Submit.
