Each user requires a dedicated profile, setup with the correct permissions to use Access Medication Management. Depending on if your organisation has migrated to Access Evo, there are separate ways to create a new user profile.
Create a new user profile on the Access Medication Management application
If your organisation hasn't migrated to Access Evo, you can create a new user profile within the application directly by following these steps:
Click Admin, then click Users.
To add a new profile, click the add
icon.Fill in the necessary information.

Click the save
icon.
Title | Enter user's title. |
Role/Teams | Enter user's role from the list. Different roles grant different access rights. |
First name | Enter user's first name. |
Last name | Enter user's last name. |
Initials | The initials auto populate based on first and last name. If there's a duplicate, the system prompts you to enter alternative initials |
Email address | Enter user's email address. |
Username | Enter a unique username. |
Password | Enter a password. |
Re-enter password | Confirm password. |
Require password reset at next login | Select this to make the password temporary allowing the user to choose their own password at first login. |
Change log | View the history of changes made to the user's profile. |
User inactive | Select this option to deactivate the user profile. |
Create a new user profile after migration to Access Evo
Once you've migrated to Access Evo, new user profiles need to be created and managed from there.
Follow the links and steps to create and setup a new user profile with appropriate access to Access Medication Management:
β οΈ Important: To follow these steps you need Administrator permissions for Access Evo.
Create a new user profile from the Member section of Access Evo.
Create their Access Medication Management account by assigning a user role to them from the Manage roles section of the Member area.
After this, you need to ensure the new user profile has the appropriate access to Access Medication Management. Follow these steps:

Log in to the desktop application of Access Medication Management.
Click Admin, then click Users.
The new user appears in red in the Migrated users section.
Click on the user and select the appropriate role to apply.
Click the save
icon.
