The Batch Reorder feature is used to generate the monthly medication order. This creates a report showing the quantities of medications required per resident for the next medication cycle, based on current inventory and cycle length. The report can then be used to inform the surgery or pharmacy of what medications are needed.

πŸ“Œ Note: Prescriptions must be manually requested from your GPs in line with locally agreed procedures.

To perform a batch reorder, follow these steps:

  1. Click Residents/Orders and select the resident you want to complete the batch reorder for.

  2. Click the hamburger menu hamburger menu icon in the top-right corner, then click Batch Reorder.

  3. Review the data displayed in the medication batch reorder pop-up.

  4. Amend any quantities in the Reorder Quantity column by double-clicking and entering the required amount.

    • The current inventory is also shown for reference.

    • PRN medications always default to zero (0.0) required.

  5. When finished, click Send Reorder.

You have now sent your reviewed data to the reporting function in the system.
