You can book appraisals meetings to create a structured, traceable record of the appraisal process rather than doing it informally outside the system.

Most common reasons are:

  • Keep a record of performance discussions in one place such as notes, objectives, outcomes.

  • Make it easier to refer back later for reviews, case management, or evidence if needed.

  • Support regular feedback and development conversations between managers and employees.

  • Track things like objectives, training needs, and outcomes linked to that appraisal.

You can book an appraisal for an employee by following the steps below:

  1. Find the employee using the organisation search then click Employment.

  2. In the drop-down on the left-hand side, click Meeting.

  3. Click Add Meeting.

  4. Click the Type drop-down menu and choose Appraisal.

  5. Fill all relevant boxes and Save.
