Before you can lodge tax forms with the ATO via SBR, you need to setup your Software ID and notify the ATO that you are using Access Tax as your hosted SBR software service.
Setup your Software ID
Log in to Tax.
Click the Settings cog, General, Next.
Read the Notification statement, then click Save.
A green success message will be displayed to confirm your notification.
Notify the ATO
Log in to the ATO Tax Agent Portal as an Administrator.
From the left-hand menu, click Access Manager.
On the Access Manager page, click Login.
Select your Credential enter your password then click Continue.
From the Access Manager left hand menu, click My hosted SBR software services.
Click Notify the ATO of your hosted service.
From the list, select ACCESS SOFTWARE AUSTRALIA PTY LTD as your hosted SBR software service provider, by clicking on the associated ABN.
Enter the Software ID found in Access Tax under Settings cog, General. For more information, click the i symbol next to the Software ID.
Once the above has been completed, ensure your Tax Agent details are listed under Settings, Agents. Refer Add or edit Tax Agent Details for instructions.
