What does the account warranty cover?

What the 12-month account warranty covers, excludes, and pays when direct recovery fails.

Written by Jason M

The account warranty protects buyers if an account is recalled by the original owner or affected by a verified seller-related issue during the warranty window. It is not a general refund policy and it does not cover problems caused by your own actions after delivery. Full policy text lives at accountshark.net/warranty.

✅ What is covered

  • Original-owner recall during the covered period.

  • Verified seller-related recovery or dispute.

  • A pre-sale issue that support can trace back to the seller or account history.

🏷️ Coverage tiers

When the confirmed recall happens

Coverage

Within 2 months

Up to 100% store credit if direct recovery fails.

2 to 6 months

Up to 50% store credit if direct recovery fails.

6 to 12 months

Up to 25% store credit if direct recovery fails.

After 12 months

Standard free coverage has expired unless extended coverage was arranged.

🚫 What is not covered

  • Bans caused by botting, cheating, RMT, unsafe add-ons, or third-party tools.

  • Sharing, reselling, or transferring the account outside AccountShark.

  • Changing sensitive account details in a way the publisher flags or does not allow.

  • False claims, asset stripping, or payment disputes.

📋 Save the evidence: The strongest warranty claims include the order number, dated screenshots of the publisher email or in-game error, and any communication you have already had with the publisher. Document as you go.

🔐 First step: If the account looks wrong, locked, or recalled, stop changing settings and read What should I do if my account is locked or recalled?.
