🔐 Keep your account secure
There is no password to look after. You sign in with Google, Discord or Apple, or with a link emailed to you. See How do I create an AccountShark account?.
Protect the email address and the sign-in provider you use. Anyone who has those can sign in as you.
Add two-factor authentication in settings and keep the backup codes somewhere safe. It is worth doing if you sell or hold a balance.
Nobody at AccountShark needs your sign-in link, your backup codes or your verification codes.
Tell support straight away about a sign-in you did not make or a profile change you did not request.

Change your display name and contact details in settings.
Set how you want to hear about orders and messages.
Keep any seller or payout profile current, so a payout has somewhere to land.
🗑️ Deletion and data retention
You can delete your account from your settings. Deletion is permanent. AccountShark keeps minimal data for up to 12 months afterwards so a late dispute can still be resolved, plus whatever the Privacy Policy and the law require. ✅ Before you request deletion: settle anything still open first, such as a live order, an open dispute, or a payout or wallet balance you have not withdrawn. Deletion will not run while one of those is outstanding, and records tied to them stay in place while they are being resolved.
