Apex Protection for sellers

Why a buyer chargeback is not taken out of your balance, when your money becomes withdrawable, and the three reasons a chargeback does come back to you.

Apex Protection protects legitimate sellers from the payment risk that comes with selling to people you do not know.

The buyer pays AccountShark before you deliver. We hold the payment while the order is completed, manage disputes through the platform, and handle payment-provider claims and chargebacks after the sale.

If you delivered what your listing promised and followed the order process, a buyer chargeback is not taken out of your balance in accordance with platform rules.

Apex Protection is included automatically on every eligible order. There is nothing to activate and no additional fee.

🛡️ What does Apex Protection cover?

Apex Protection covers sellers against payment problems they did not cause, including:

  • Buyer chargebacks after a legitimate completed order.

  • Unauthorized or fraudulent payments accepted through AccountShark.

  • Payment-provider disputes involving an otherwise valid sale.

  • Buyers falsely claiming they did not receive an order you can show was properly delivered.

AccountShark handles the payment-provider side of these claims. You do not have to contact the buyer's bank or card company yourself.

If we need information from you, we will use the listing, order messages, and delivery evidence to establish what happened.

💳 The buyer pays before you deliver

Do not deliver an order based on a payment screenshot, promise to pay, or payment made somewhere else.

An official AccountShark order means we have received the buyer's payment before you are expected to deliver.

From there, keep the transaction inside the order. Use AccountShark for communication, delivery, and any evidence required for your category.

That record is what allows us to protect you if the buyer later disputes the payment.

💰 When do my funds become available?

After delivery, the buyer gets a review window before the order confirms itself.

If the buyer confirms that everything is correct, the order completes. If they take no action, the order automatically completes when the review period ends.

What happens next depends on what you sold.

Game accounts

Once the order completes, your earnings appear in your seller balance, but the amount remains pending during the account's 12-month warranty period.

After the warranty period ends without an unresolved covered claim, the funds become available for withdrawal.

Boosting services

Boost earnings become eligible for withdrawal once the order is successfully completed. There is no additional account-warranty holding period.

Other categories may have their own release requirements where shown.

See When do sellers and boosters get paid? for payout methods and withdrawal requirements.

⚠️ When are you responsible for the loss?

Apex Protection protects legitimate transactions. It does not protect a seller from problems the seller caused.

A chargeback, refund, or other order loss may be charged back to you when we determine that the underlying transaction involved:

1. Non-delivery

You did not deliver the product or service the buyer paid for.

2. Significantly not as described

What you delivered materially differed from the listing or agreed order and the problem was not properly resolved.

3. Intentional fraud or scamming

You deliberately deceived the buyer, falsified delivery, reclaimed or interfered with a sold product, or otherwise used the marketplace to commit fraud.

These decisions are based on the individual order and the available evidence.

🔍 What happens when there is a claim?

There are two different kinds of claims you may encounter.

An AccountShark dispute happens when the buyer reports a problem through their order. We review the issue before deciding whether the order should continue, be corrected, canceled, or refunded.

A chargeback or payment dispute happens when the buyer goes to their bank or payment provider. AccountShark handles that process because the buyer paid us rather than paying you directly.

When reviewing either type of claim, we may consider:

  • The original listing or offer

  • The order details

  • Messages between you and the buyer

  • Delivery and completion evidence

  • Account or service information relevant to the claim

  • The seller rules and terms that applied to the order

If you are asked for additional information, respond promptly.

🎮 What about account reclaims?

Apex Protection does not remove your responsibility for an account after you sell it.

Buyers receive a separate 12-month Account Warranty covering eligible account reclaims and access problems.

If an account is reclaimed or the buyer loses access, we may investigate the account history, recovery information, seller actions, and other available evidence.

A reclaim caused by you or connected to access you improperly retained is not protected seller activity and may result in the order value being recovered from you along with seller penalties.

Do not log into, recover, modify, or interfere with an account after it has been sold unless AccountShark or the buyer specifically asks you to assist with an active issue.

✅ How to stay protected

Apex Protection works best when the entire transaction leaves a clear record.

To keep your seller protection:

  • Describe the product accurately. Disclose important restrictions, history, and limitations before the buyer orders.

  • Deliver through the official order. Never deliver because someone shows you a payment screenshot or promises to pay elsewhere.

  • Keep communication on AccountShark. Important agreements and changes should be visible in the order.

  • Provide delivery evidence. Follow the proof requirements for your category.

  • Deliver exactly what was ordered. Get the buyer's agreement before making substitutions or changing the delivery method.

  • For account sales, transfer the access you promised and do not retain control.

  • Respond to AccountShark if we ask for information about a dispute, chargeback, or warranty claim.

If you move the payment or transaction outside AccountShark, Apex Protection does not apply. We cannot protect a payment we did not process or verify a delivery that happened outside the order.
