Acelab offers the ability to collaborate across a firm and across projects. Learn more about both methods below.

Firm Collaboration

Organizing your entire team into Acelab helps ensure you are getting the most out of the product. To invite in your firm, go to the person icon in the top right and select 'Manage Account'.

Navigate to the 'Company' section. If you already have collaborators at the firm, they will show in the 'Collaborators' section. To add or change collaborators click 'Edit'.

Scroll down to the 'People Management' section and select 'Add Team Member'.

A pop-up will allow you to add one or more team members emails. Then select 'Send Invitation'. It can be helpful to let team members know ahead of time that you will be inviting them in so they can keep an eye out for their invitation.

The newly added team members will receive an email with the subject line: You've been invited to join [Your Firm Name] on Acelab. The email will contain a button to 'Accept Invitation'. Clicking that button will take them through their profile set up and then they will have access to the Firm Library and projects they have been invited to. Collaborators will need to be added in to each project, see the next section below. This is because a firm may have many projects and there may not be the need to have each person as a collaborator on each project.

Project Collaboration

To invite a collaborator to a project, go to 'My Library' > Projects > Select the Project > Project Info. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select 'Invite Collaborators'.

A pop-up will allow you to input the email addresses needed and then select 'Send Invitations'. Please note that when collaborators added to your project they will automatically be given the permissions of Creator, read more about permissions here. To adjust permissions, they will need to accept the invitation first. The status of the invitations can be monitored from the Project Info screen.

Once the individual has accepted their invitation, the permission level can be adjusted from this screen.

If for any reason a collaborator needs to be removed from the project, navigate to Project Info and their name and the 'x' icon on the right of their card, select that, and then select 'Confirm' in the pop-up. This will remove all access to the project.
