How to add Products to Schedules

If you need to add a product in Acelab and it isn't yet available in our database, scroll to the bottom of the schedule and select the '+' sign.

Once selected, there will be two options 'Search by Manufacturer' and 'Add Placeholder'. The recommendation is to begin with 'Search by Manufacturer' to see if the product is in our database. Begin typing in the manufacturer's name and then selecting the manufacturer. If the manufacturer doesn't exist, then selecting to add them will allow you to add a Placeholder product. You can also select to 'Add Placeholder' if previous searches didn't show the manufacturer.

Once you have selected 'Add Placeholder', you can type in the manufacturer name and the product name and then upload an image if desired, then select 'Add Product'.

Placeholder products allow for alot of flexibility. For example, you could use this function to add say, millwork subcontractors in the Millwork schedule if needed.
