We know that getting started with your firm library can be a tough process. However, Acelab are experts in the realm and will shepherd you through the process of taking your firm history and turning those into real insights! We will take you through a series of steps and support you along the way.
Overview
Our process is broken down into 3 simple steps to allow us to quality control and get input along the way. The 3 stages are:
Stage 1: Material Hand-Off
Stage 2: Library Build-Out
Stage 3: Project Templating
Along the way we wills set up a series of calls, do work on your behalf, and then ask you to review and input your thoughts so your firm library and project templates are setup exactly the way you want your firm to use them. Once we're complete with the onboarding, our team will be available to you via monthly office hours and live chat as well!
Stage 1: Material Hand-Off
Implementation Call - 1 Hour
We will start with a call where we discuss roll-out plan with the core library or project team. We’ll review project history and organizational goals to ensure you have a clear picture of what will come next! At the end of this call our team will open up a Material History Audit Ticket.
Post-Call Action Items:
Upload Project Documents and Material References to the Acelab Portal
Share list of team emails to add into Acelab’s library
Decide 1-2 Projects to deploy Material Hub on
Material History Audit - 2 Weeks
Once our team receives the above information from you, we will start by reviewing these in-depth using our proprietary AI tools. Our team will extract building product data line-by-line and associate this with our extensive database to understand your coverage across all CSI Categories.
Once we have completed this initial audit, our implementation team will then upload all of your used products into a digital firm library directly in your company account. You will receive a message as soon as this is complete along with access to the information below. Our team will also do the hard-work of sharing recommendations where we believe you might have some gaps in your firm library
Stage 2: Library Build-Out
Library Work session - 1 hr
During this follow-up call you will provide feedback to our team on the completed Material’s Audit and other products or details you’d like to see included in your library view. We’ll layout a plan of for your team to start reviewing the materials. We will also take time to discuss how we envision your team using this library. We will establish next steps, including key divisions we will require your team to throughly review prior to our next call.
Post-Call Action Items:
Begin Review of Library Sections by CSI Division.
Identify Key Information for Firm Use: Columns, Material Tags, etc.
Library Review - 30min
We'll come back to review your progress with the firm library, and transition into our next step, Project templating. During this we will discuss how you want the team to use Acelab on projects. Our team will then take this info and setup some key templates to get you started.
Stage 3: Project Templating
We will embark on 4 project sessions to ensure you are moving forward with ease. These will be Weekly (somewhat of a sprint) to get you moving, and our team onboarded into your project research.
Project Work Session #1 - 30min
This will be the first of 4 project startup process. During this call we will ask for you to bring along your project team (ideally a Project Manager and Technical Architect) to establish standard operating procedures for decision-making. Our team will then break down the next few weeks based on the key CSI Divisions where project research needs to be focused.
Project Work Session #2 - 30min
Project Work Session #3 - 30min

Monthly Office Hours
You will be assigned a dedicated account manager who will check-in on your experience and provide any additional team training, onboarding support, project startups, and any additional support you require from our team. Sharing your feedback (good and bad) on our product during these calls will help us improve the tools you have access too!
