Filtering and Sorting Your Pipeline

How to use filters, sort, and search to find the leads that matter most.

Summary

As your pipeline grows, finding the right leads quickly becomes essential. The dashboard gives you three tools for this: a search bar, sort controls, and a filter sidebar with over a dozen filter options — including project-level details like phase, budget, and building type.

Search

Use the search bar at the top of the pipeline board to find a specific lead by name. Results update as you type.

Sort

Use the Sort control to reorder leads within each pipeline column. Available sort options:

  • Name (A→Z)

  • Last Updated (most recently changed first)

  • Date Added (most recently created first)

Sorting applies across all columns simultaneously.

Filters

Click the Filters button to open the filter sidebar. You can apply as many filters as you like — the pipeline updates instantly as you make selections.

To access filters:

  1. Click Show Filters

  2. Use the caret to expand and see the options available. When applicable, search for the filter option you are looking for as shown in the example below.

  3. To close filters, click Hide Filters.

Available filters:

Lead details

  • Lead Owner (manufacturer rep assigned to the lead)

  • Lead Status (Active or Inactive)

  • Lead Type (Project or Firm Library)

  • Lead Source

Project details

  • All project details

Company details

  • Company Location

  • Company Name

Product

  • Product Category

Combining Filters

Filters work together. For example, you could filter by:

  • Project Phase = Design Development + Project Location = Northeast — to surface active, in-progress projects in a specific region

  • Lead Owner = [Rep name] + Lead Status = Active — to review a specific rep's current pipeline

The more filters you apply, the narrower your results. Clear individual filters by clicking the x next to each one, or clear all filters at once with Clear All.

💡 Helpful Tips

  • Project-level filters (phase, budget, type, size) only return results for leads that have project data attached. Nurture and Education stage leads typically won't appear in project field filters.

  • Use Lead Owner filters when reviewing your team's distribution — it's a quick way to spot if leads are concentrated on one rep or going unassigned.
