Add a new rep or admin to your manufacturer account by sending them an email invitation. They'll receive a link to accept and join your team.
Before You Begin
You must have an Admin role to invite team members.
You'll need the invitee's email address.
If the person already belongs to another Acelab account (architect or manufacturer), they'll be prompted to leave that account before joining yours.
Steps
Go to Manage Account > Team in the left sidebar.
In the Members section, click Add Member.
In the modal that appears, enter the invitee's email address. You can invite more than one person in a single session by adding a comma after each email.
βClick Invite.
The invitation email will be sent, and the invitee will appear in the Pending Requests section until they accept.
Note: New members are added as Reps by default. You can change their role to Admin after they accept the invitation. See How to Manage Team Roles and Remove Members for instructions.
Managing Pending Invitations
Once an invitation is sent, it appears in the Pending Requests section. From there, you can:
Resend β sends a fresh invitation email and updates the "Date Sent" timestamp
Cancel β invalidates the invitation link and removes it from the pending list
What the Invitee Experiences
The invitee receives an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they already have an Acelab account under a different organization, they'll see a confirmation prompt before switching. Once accepted, they'll appear in the Members list.
Troubleshooting
Issue | What to do |
"This user is already invited or part of the team" | The email address is already associated with a pending invite or active member. Check the Pending Requests section or the Members list. |
"Please enter a valid email address" | Double-check the email format and try again. |
Invitee didn't receive the email | Use the Resend option in the Pending Requests section. |
Outcome
After submitting, the invitee receives an email invitation. Their entry appears in Pending Requests until they accept. Once accepted, they appear as an active member of your team.
