Overview

Acenda is committed to being a trusted solution partner. To protect sensitive customer information and help you maintain marketplace integrity, we implement automatic sanitization of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

The 30-Day Auto-Redaction Process

To minimize security risks, Acenda automatically masks sensitive data for all orders 30 days after they are created.

  • What is Redacted: Complete street addresses and specific contact details are overwritten with generic placeholders.

  • What is Retained: City, State, and Zip Code remain intact.

  • The Benefit: This approach prevents the unauthorized use of sensitive information while preserving the data structure needed for business analysis, tax reporting, and third-party vendor sharing.

Visual Example: Before vs. After

Once the 30-day window passes, order details in your dashboard will be updated as follows:

⚠️ Your Responsibility: Marketplace Compliance

While Acenda provides these automated safeguards, adhering to specific marketplace PII regulations is the sole responsibility of the Acenda Client.

  • Rule Adherence: You must ensure your internal workflows comply with the unique PII policies of each marketplace (e.g., Target+, Amazon, or Walmart).

  • No Active Monitoring: Acenda does not monitor, audit, or enforce marketplace-specific compliance rules on your behalf.

  • Data Backups: If you require long-term access to full PII for shipping or accounting records, ensure you Export Your Data or sync it to your ERP within the first 30 days.
