Overview

MTA (Marketplace Target Attribute) values automatically appear for Target+ approved vendors and products. These values are triggered by Target+'s required attributes assigned to each product category. It's common for Target+ to request additional MTA values. Follow the steps below to ensure your products reflect them correctly.

Steps to Assign the Correct MTA Values

1. Identify the Posting Template

  • You will receive instructions from Target+, specifying which posting template needs the MTA values added.

  • In the Target Integration, search for the relevant posting template using specific identifiers such as template name, ID, or other details provided in the notification.

  • Once the correct posting template is open, go to the Attributes section.

  • Locate the MTA value from the instructions Target sent you.

  • Add the MTA Field:

    • Click on "Add Value" to add a new MTA field.

    • In the search box, search for the name of the MTA value. The name should match exactly what was provided by Target.

    • After selecting the MTA field, scroll to the lower-right corner and click "Save" to confirm and save your changes.

2. Identify the Allowed Attribute Values

  • Target+ only accepts specific allowed values for the MTA's.

  • View Allowed Values:

    • Generate a SuperTemplate, or

    • Visit the Posting Template, click the “i” link next to the attribute field, and view the allowed values from the list.

3. Apply the Correct Attribute Value to Products

  • Once you have identified the correct allowed attribute value, update your item records in Product Admin by assigning the corresponding MTA value.

4. Verify and Publish

  • Ensure the attribute value is correctly assigned to your products.

  • Acenda will automatically push the changes to Target+ within one hour.

By following these steps, your approved products will correctly display the MTA Values on Target+.
