How to Set or Update Item Pricing in Acenda

You can manage pricing for individual items in the Acenda Admin or use the export/import tool for bulk updates.

Setting Pricing Through the Admin Dashboard

  1. Log in to Acenda Admin.

  2. Click “Items” in the top navigation bar.

  3. Select an existing item or create a new one.

  4. Ensure the “Group” field is set to variant (required for pricing to appear).

  5. Click the “Pricing” tab.

Pricing Options

  • Base Price: Default price applied across all channels.

  • Custom Price: Use this to set pricing for a specific integration or channel (Based on Subscription ID which can be found in the integration page under ID next to each marketplace).

Adding Base Price

  1. Click "Add Base Price."

  2. Enter the Price value.

  3. Fill in the MSRP (MSRP is needed when running promos).

  4. Click "Add" to save.

Note: Do not add MAPP pricing values.

Bulk Base Price Import

  1. Open a new excel sheet.

  2. The first header/column in the sheet is "sku."

  3. The second header/column in the sheet is "pricing_item.price.amount."

  4. The third header/column in the sheet is "pricing_item.msrp.amount."

  5. Add the skus that need price updates and fill in the new Price and MSRP values.

  6. Go to the Import/Export tab in the navigation bar in Acenda.

  7. Select imports, new import.

  8. The import type will be "Catalog."

  9. Select the file.

  10. Ensure the mappings line up in the import preview.

  11. Import. Spot check a few skus under the "items" tab to confirm the new base prices are reflecting.

The Base Pricing Update Sheet should look like this:

Adding a Custom Price

  1. Click “Add Custom Price.”

  2. Select the relevant Subscription.

  3. Enter the Price (numbers only, no currency symbol).

  4. Enter MSRP values (MSRP is needed when running promos).

  5. Click “Add” to save.

Note: Do not add MAPP pricing values.

Bulk Custom Pricing Import

  1. Go to the "Items" and look up the first sku you'd like to add custom pricing to.

  2. Click “Add Custom Price.”

  3. Select the relevant Subscription.

  4. Enter the Price (numbers only, no currency symbol).

  5. Enter MSRP values (MSRP is needed when running promos).

  6. Click “Add” to save.

  7. Go to the Imports/Exports tab in the navigation bar.

  8. Go to "Exports" and select "Custom Pricing." Wait for thew export to populate and select "Download."

  9. Open the file, you will see the sku you just added the custom pricing to under the headers.

  10. Delete the id, created at, created by, updated at, updated by, mapp.amount and mapp.currency columns from the file.

  11. Add in the skus you'd like to add custom pricing to under the "sku" column.

  12. Fill in the appropriate Subscription id. The Subscription ID can be found in the integrations tab, under the ID for each sales channel/marketplace.

  13. Enter the new price amount and MSRP amount.

  14. Drag down the "USD" currency values.

  15. Go to the Imports/Exports tab in Acenda.

  16. Select imports, new import. Import type is "Custom Pricing"

  17. Select your file and ensure all the mappings line up in the import preview.

  18. Import. Spot check a few skus under the "items" tab to confirm the new custom prices are reflecting under the correct marketplace.

The Custom Pricing Update Sheet should look like this:

Note: Once price updates are reflecting correctly in Acenda, please allow four hours to overnight for the new prices to sync based on the marketplace updating cycle.
