This guide explains how to configure logistics attributes for your Target+ products within the Acenda Admin. These settings control item-level details, including regional shipping restrictions, cart minimum requirements, two-day shipping eligibility, and return policies.
Accessing the Logistics Configuration
To make changes to your logistics settings:
Log in to your Acenda Admin.
Navigate to Integrations > Target and select Edit.
Click on the Generic Template tab.
Locate the Logistics template in the list and click Edit.
You can now manage the four primary logistics attributes listed below.
1. Shipping Exclusion
This setting determines if specific regions are restricted from purchasing an item.
No (Default): Shipping is allowed to all US regions.
Yes: Customers in the excluded regions listed below cannot purchase the item.
Excluded Regions (when set to Yes): Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), APO/FPO, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Minor Outlying Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands.
Important: You must fulfill orders to PO Boxes regardless of how this setting is configured.
How to Update: In the Logistics template, find the Shipping Exclusion field. Select Yes to block the regions listed above, or No to allow shipping to all locations.
2. Is Addon
This setting designates a product as an "Add-On Item." This is generally used for low-cost items that are not profitable to ship individually.
Yes: The item can only be purchased if the customer's total cart value is $35 or more.
No (or Blank): No cart minimum is applied. This is the default setting.
How to Update: In the Logistics template, find the Is Addon field. Select Yes to enforce the $35 minimum cart value, or No to remove the requirement.
3. Two-Day Shipping Eligible
This setting indicates whether items are eligible for the Target+ two-day shipping program. You can apply this setting to all items globally or configure it on a per-item basis.
Method 1: Global Setting (Apply to All Items) Use this if your entire catalog has the same eligibility status.
Find the Two-Day Shipping Eligible field.
Set the Value Type to Static String.
In the value box, enter Yes (all items eligible) or No (no items eligible).
Method 2: Item-Level Setting (Per Item) Use this to control eligibility for specific products.
Configure the Field: In the Two-Day Shipping Eligible field, set the Value Type to Product Property. Click the + (plus) icon, name the field
two_day_shipping_eligible, and click Save.Update Product Data:
Manual: Go to Admin > Items, select a product, and open the Details tab. Set the
two_day_shipping_eligiblefield to Yes or No.Bulk: Use the Acenda import tool to update the
two_day_shipping_eligiblecolumn for multiple items at once.
4. Return Code
This setting requires a mandatory 3-letter code that defines how Target handles returns for your products. You can find your specific codes in your Target+ Partner Portal under Business Info > Return Policies.
Method 1: Global (Apply to All Items) Use this if all your items share the same return policy.
In the Logistics template, find the Return Policy field.
Set the Value Type to Static String.
Enter the 3-letter return code (e.g., AAC) provided by Target.
Warning: Do not create your own Additional Attribute without first consulting an Acenda sales engineer. Doing so can confuse Target's system.
Method 2: Item-Level Setting (Per Item) Use this if you have different return policies for different products.
Configure the Field: In the Return Policy field, set the Value Type to Product Property. Click the + (plus) icon, name the field
target_return_code, and click Save.Update Product Data: Use the Acenda import tool to update the
target_return_codefield for your SKUs with the appropriate 3-letter codes.
