What are Assets?

The Assets feature in Acenda is your personal file hosting service. It's designed to store files like images and PDFs that you might need for your marketplace listings. Think of it as a central library for your product-related documents, such as size charts, installation guides, or warranty information.

You can find this feature by navigating to Admin > Assets.

How do I upload files to Assets?

You have two simple ways to upload your files. Once in the Assets section, you'll see two buttons at the top right.

  • Upload File: Click this button to open a file browser. You can then select one or more files directly from your computer to upload.

  • Add from URL: Click this button if your file is already hosted online. Just paste the file's URL into the provided field, and Acenda will import it for you.

Acenda supports the most common file formats, including .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, and .pdf. The maximum file size is 50 MB.

How can I use my uploaded Assets?

Once a file is successfully uploaded, it's assigned a unique URL hosted by Acenda. This makes it incredibly easy to share across different platforms and services.

To get the link:

  1. Locate the file in your Assets list.

  2. Click the copy icon next to the file name.

  3. The URL will be instantly copied to your clipboard.

You can then paste this URL into your marketplace posting templates. It's perfect for populating fields that require a direct link to an image or document, such as a "Static String" value or a custom field for additional product details. This ensures your size charts and instructions are always accessible to your customers.
